Once in Space Game
Description
Once in Space is a remake of a game with the same name I did back in 2007. The original was lacking in design, content and just overall quality, so it seemed to be a smart idea to recreate it with more taste.
The game is a puzzle platformer where you’re supposed to collect every yellow star in a level, and then head for the goal flag. The hard thing is, the stars are often impossible to reach by normal means. To get to them, you’ll need to manipulate the gravity of the protagonist by various means; while simple in theory, this brings some real problems as the difficulty gets tougher.
The game has over 20 levels, with 4 secret ones and 2 ‘tutorial’ levels, to make the player feel familiar with the gameplay. The difficulty starts up easy, but gets much much tougher as the game progresses and more items and tools are introduced to the game, such as gravity and velocity funnels, other creatures and so on.
Enjoy!
